Legislative Column for Feb. 12, 2014

Visiting the Capitol

JEFFERSON CITY — As your Missouri senator, I take much pride in representing each and every one of you in the legislative process. It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the voice that represents the 26th Senatorial District in the Missouri General Assembly.

My top priority has always been to serve the best interests of all my constituents back home. Without your support, I would not be here today. I immensely value all of your opinions and do my best to hear your concerns in order to better serve as your senator.

For the last 12 years, I have encouraged all citizens to come to the Capitol and visit during the legislative session. I truly enjoy getting the chance to visit with all of my constituents and hear about what is most important to them, while they are here in Jefferson City. In order to ensure that I am available to meet with you or your group during your visit, I encourage you all to either call or email my office to schedule an appointment. This allows me to be back in my office during set times so I get the chance to talk with each and every one of you during your visit to our beautiful and historic Capitol.

I look forward to meeting you during your visit to Jefferson City. May God bless you.
